  2. Wyprowadź odpowiedź i sprawdź mylące odczytania

True: związek przyczynowy jest wyrażony przez That’s how I got my first job i They needed someone to make sketches. Nie trzeba było już wtedy mieć dyplomu archeologa; studia rozpoczął dopiero później.

  3. Porównaj własny klucz i oficjalną transkrypcję

    Zadanie 1.
Woman: Hello, Mark. I’d like to ask you about your work as an archaeologist. What is it like
           digging for treasure?
Man: It’s great. Archaeology is my passion. When I’m working at an archaeological site,
           I feel like Indiana Jones.
Woman: Were you interested in archaeology when you were a teenager?
Man: No. I thought I was going to be an artist because I was very good at drawing.
That’s how I got my first job working with some archaeologists in Egypt. They
           needed someone to make sketches.
Woman: Was it then that you became interested in archaeology?
Man: Well, I was keen to discover the stories behind the objects which I drew, so in 1990
I decided to study archaeology. I was really lucky because, in my second year,
a famous archaeology professor, Mark Thompson, became the head of my
department, and I learned a lot from him.
Woman: Where did you work after graduation?
Man: I went back to Egypt because it is one of the most fascinating places for any
archaeologist. But I stayed there for only a week because I got a phone call from
Professor Thompson in Greece, which had just been hit by an earthquake. He
needed urgent help with protecting some archaeological sites in the earthquake
region. So, I went and spent almost a whole year working there with him.
Woman: Fascinating! Did you ever find any valuable items while working as an
           archaeologist?
Man: Once, I found an extraordinary vase. When the sun shines on it, it seems to be
made of gold, but it’s in fact made of crystal. There’s a photo of it on the wall
           behind me.
Woman: Wow, it’s beautiful! And what are you doing nowadays?
Man: Well, I spend most of the time in my office. I work for archaeological magazines
and write articles about the latest sites in Egypt, where my younger colleagues are
working. By writing the stories about the sites, I try to bring ancient times back to
           life.

Nie zamieniaj pierwszej pracy przy szkicach z późniejszą pracą wykwalifikowanego archeologa.

  1. Odszukaj dowód w transkrypcji F2015

archaeologist.
I work for archaeological magazines
and write articles about the latest sites in Egypt, where my younger colleagues are
working. By writing the stories about the sites, I try to bring ancient times back to
           life.

John, have you ever seen the film Holiday? I just loved the English cottage in which one of
the characters lives. After I watched the film the first time, I wanted to see the house in real
life. I started looking for tours which included a visit to the village where the film was made.
But I found out that the house I was keen to see doesn’t exist anymore. It had been built in
just two weeks and when the filming ended, it was taken down. I was so disappointed!
                                                                     Na podstawie: www.thisisglamorous.com

Agatha Christie, the well-known writer, bought this house in 1938 and described it as the
loveliest place in the world. She used to stay here to relax with friends and family. This
wasn’t the place where she worked on her detective stories, but she set three of her books
here. Before we walk around the house, I need to get the tickets. You can now leave the
coach, sit in the deckchairs in the front garden, and enjoy the amazing views. We’ll meet at
the main entrance in 15 minutes.

I’d like to invite you to watch our next programme. We are going to have Oscar Mendez, an
architect from Bogota, with us in the studio. Mr Mendez owns a company which uses
recycled plastic to construct houses. As far as I know, the system is very easy. First, things
like old plastic bags, bottles and toys are turned into all the different parts needed for building
a house. Then these parts are put together just like Lego. With this technology, it is possible
to build a house in just five days. You will have the chance to learn more when you join us

This is the point in our weekly programme when we give our listeners ideas for short
weekend trips. Our first suggestion today is for fans of The Lord of the Rings. For as little as
£100 a night, you can experience how it feels to live like a hobbit. The idea for this magical
hobbit holiday home came from the famous fantasy novel and movie series. The house has
round doors and walls and is located in beautiful English countryside. It is perfect for up to
four guests. Why don’t you make a reservation right now? You won’t regret it!

Yesterday, I decided to leave my car at home and go to my office on foot. In one of the
streets on my route, I saw a few people standing in front of a wall. At first, I thought that they
were looking at a poster, but when I asked one of them, she said that they were waiting to
enter the narrowest house in the world! It is just 92 centimetres at the narrowest point and
152 centimetres at the widest point. The house has two floors and a kitchen, a bedroom,
a bathroom and even a tiny living room! It is hidden between two much bigger buildings, so
I’d had no idea that it was there.

                                                                          Na podstawie: www.chido-fajny.com

And now the story of an unusual incident which took place in Germany. A woman called the
police because she thought she heard loud screaming coming from a car in a forest parking
area. Ten minutes later, armed police surrounded the car and ordered the man in the driver’s
seat to get out and free his prisoner. However, there was nobody else in the car. The man

Jeff Lyons, a weather forecaster for NBC, had to set up a studio in his dining room because

police because she thought she heard loud screaming coming from a car in a forest parking
area. Ten minutes later, armed police surrounded the car and ordered the man in the driver’s
seat to get out and free his prisoner. However, there was nobody else in the car. The man
told the police he was in the forest to enjoy an amusing novel. The “screaming” was in fact
coming from him because he was laughing very loudly while reading the book. The police
apologized and left the man in peace.

Woman: Have you been to Eddie’s, the new shop in our shopping centre?
    Man: No. Have you?
Woman: Yes, I went there last Friday because I heard they sell a lot of healthy, organic fruit
and vegetables. And I found out that they sell all their products without any
packaging. It’s a great idea because no rubbish is produced and that means less

Jeff Lyons, a weather forecaster for NBC, had to set up a studio in his dining room because

Woman: Have you been to Eddie’s, the new shop in our shopping centre?
    Man: No. Have you?
Woman: Yes, I went there last Friday because I heard they sell a lot of healthy, organic fruit
and vegetables. And I found out that they sell all their products without any
packaging. It’s a great idea because no rubbish is produced and that means less
pollution. But I didn’t have a shopping bag with me, and you really need to have
one to carry fruit and veg when you buy them loose.
Man: Oh! So in the end you didn’t buy anything?
Woman: Actually, I did, because luckily you can buy cheap recycled paper bags there.

Jeff Lyons, a weather forecaster for NBC, had to set up a studio in his dining room because
of the Covid-19 pandemic. When he began presenting his first forecast from home, his cat
Betty wanted to join in too. Instead of interrupting the forecast to take the cat out of the room,
Jeff simply took his pet in his arms. For the next seven days he gave each forecast
accompanied by Betty, his cat. Surprisingly, this situation didn’t annoy the viewers. On the
contrary, they asked to see more of Betty, so now Jeff’s pet appears in his programme every

Man: You’re absolutely right! So, how are you going to get to the conference?
           By plane?

Hello, it’s good to see you again. I hope your breakfast at the hotel was excellent and that
you’re all sitting comfortably. Can you all hear me? Good. Before we set off, I’d like to let you
know about a small change. We were going to visit the Hoover Dam first, but the road is
blocked. That’s why we’ll start with the Grand Canyon and then go to the Hoover Dam.
I think we are now ready to set off. This is Jonathan and he’ll take us safely to our

VERA WANG: A SUCCESSFUL AMERICAN FASHION DESIGNER

4.1.

As a young girl, Vera Wang was passionate about figure skating. She competed
professionally throughout her teens. Her ambition was to become a member of the USA
national figure skating team and take part in the Olympics. Unfortunately, when she was 16,
she failed to qualify for the Olympics. After this disappointment, Vera decided to stop skating.

She began studying art history at Sara Lawrence College and spent her summers working
at the Yves Saint Laurent store in her home city. One day at the store, she met a man who
worked for Vogue – a famous fashion magazine. To her surprise, he invited her to work for
the magazine as an assistant to the fashion director. Within a year, Wang was promoted
and became one of the magazine’s youngest ever senior fashion editors.

4.3.

In 1987, Vera Wang left Vogue to take a job as a design director at Ralph Lauren. A short
time later, she began planning her wedding. Because she was unable to find a wedding
dress that satisfied her, she designed one herself. This made her realize that she had the
talent and passion necessary to become a professional dress designer. In 1990, Wang quit
her job at Ralph Lauren and opened her own clothing boutique with the plan to design and
sell her own collections.

and her designs were a popular topic of discussion on top TV shows.

Good news 😊

Hi Sue,
Just a quick note to tell you that I started playing basketball for my school team.
Yesterday we had an important match. We played quite well, but we lost by four points.
At the end I felt like crying. The winning team got some awesome T-shirts as a prize,
but we didn’t get anything. I was so disappointed. But then, when I was leaving the
court, a well-known basketball coach, who was at the match, came up to me and said
“You were the best player on the court. I hope you’ll join my club one day.” It was such
a surprise! And I felt really happy.
That’s all for now,
Dorothy

Good news 😊

Hi Sue,
Just a quick note to tell you that I started playing basketball for my school team.
That’s all for now,
Dorothy

“Can I help you, Miss?” – I heard a strong male voice behind me.
“I’m going up to deck A. Isn’t this the right way?” I replied. And then I added: “I’ve just
received an invitation from Oona Sheehan to visit her in her first-class cabin.” I quickly
showed him the message I had got from Oona. “Very good, Miss. Allow me to go with you,”
the man said. He led me up to Oona’s cabin, knocked on the door and we entered. “If you
please, madam, there’s a young lady to see you – her name is Molly Murphy.”
“How good of you to come, Molly,” Oona said.
“Miss Sheehan, why exactly did you invite me?” I asked a moment after the steward had left
the cabin. “You hardly know me!”
Oona said: “Molly, I know that you are a lady detective, so you must be the kind of woman
who likes a challenge and perhaps you would like to earn some extra money on this trip.
I have a small proposition for you. It’s not always easy being me. I can never be alone,
never have a chance to be myself. Even now, on this ship, in the middle of the ocean.
People follow me like puppy dogs. It can become very tiring. I’m taking this trip home
because my doctor has ordered me to slow down and rest. I would like some peace and
quiet during the voyage.”
“You said you had a proposition for me,” I said.
“Yes. I want to change places with you on this voyage,” Oona said to my surprise.
“You want what?” I asked.
“Exactly what I said. For this voyage I want to become Molly Murphy, and I want you to stay
in this cabin and become Oona Sheehan.”
“But that’s absurd,” I said.
“I’ve thought it all out. I’ll announce that I am feeling ill and I am staying in my cabin.
If anyone knocks on the door and tries to talk to you, tell them that you have a terrible sore
throat,” Oona said.
“Let me get this right. You’ll take my second-class cabin, down on E deck?” I asked.
“Yes. Say you’ll agree, and I’ll pay you straight away,” Oona said.
I thought for a moment. “I’ll do it,” I said.
She handed me a hundred dollars. Then she said: “Let’s exchange clothing and I’ll make
my way down to E deck. And of course, feel free to use anything you like.” When we had
switched clothes, she left. I stood in my new cabin, still feeling shocked. This was certainly
the strangest thing which had ever happened to me. I was about to start a great adventure
in my new role as Oona Sheehan. Then I heard someone knocking on my door.
“Come in,” I called, trying to sound like a famous actress with a sore throat. A pretty young
woman entered the room and smiled politely.
“Good morning, Miss Murphy, I’m Rose, and Miss Sheehan has just asked me to look after
you and give you whatever you need.”
I realized that it was going to be an unusual voyage.

Autorskie opracowanie EJAU-P0-100-2305, 6.3. Rozumowanie porównano z własnym tekstem i przypisanym kluczem. Skorygowano błędny import kolumny B dla pokazanych opcji A. Pierwsza redakcja do niezależnej recenzji.

Zobacz rozwiązanie krok po kroku
  1. Znajdź dowód i kontekst we własnym tekście

Oona najpierw objaśnia, że ogłosi chorobę i że Molly ma powiedzieć odwiedzającym o silnym bólu gardła. Zgoda pada później; pieniądze i zamiana ubrań następują po niej.

  2. Wyprowadź odpowiedź i odrzuć mylące warianty

C: przed decyzją powiedziała Molly, co ma mówić. A i B są późniejsze, a rada leżenia w łóżku nie pada. Kluczowe jest ograniczenie czasowe before Molly made her decision.

  3. Sprawdź własną opcję i kolumnę klucza

Pokazane opcje odpowiadają kolumnie A wspólnego klucza. Poprzedni import pobierał prawą kolumnę B — skorygowano przypisanie, nie treść odpowiedzi CKE. Sprawdź pełne brzmienie opcji i dowód, nie samą literę.

Nie zamieniaj kolejności instrukcja → zgoda → zapłata → wymiana ubrań.
